Position Overview

Business Analyst (8-12 Years of Experience) Location: Pune, India Position Type: Full-time Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in requirements gathering, analysis, and solution design. The ideal candidate will possess 8 to 12 years of experience in business analysis, working closely with stakeholders to identify business needs and translate them into technical requirements. This role will be based in Pune and will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions that drive business outcomes. Key Responsibilities: ● Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Lead sessions with stakeholders to understand and document business needs, objectives, and functional requirements. Translate these into detailed technical specifications and workflows. ● Solution Design: Collaborate with IT and development teams to design effective solutions that align with business goals. Ensure that solutions meet both functional and non-functional requirements. ● Process Improvement: Identify areas for business process improvement and recommend solutions to enhance operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and overall productivity. ● Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors. Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment on project deliverables and timelines. ● Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive business analysis documentation, including requirement specifications, use cases, user stories, process flows, and wireframes. ● Testing & Validation: Work with quality assurance teams to develop test cases and validate that the developed solutions meet the defined requirements. Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide feedback for improvements. ● Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support decision-making and strategic planning. ● Project Management Support: Assist project managers with project planning, scheduling, and tracking progress to ensure successful delivery of projects on time and within scope. ● Training & Support: Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders, ensuring a smooth transition and adoption of new processes and systems. Required Qualifications: ● Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. ● 8 to 12 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a technology-driven environment. ● Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to analyze complex business processes and translate them into technical requirements. ● Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies, such as UML, BPMN, and Agile frameworks. ● Familiarity with project management tools like JIRA, Trello, or MS Project. ● Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. ● Experience in data analysis tools, such as Excel, SQL, or BI tools, is a plus. ● Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Preferred Qualifications: ● MBA or relevant certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA). ● Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall. ● Knowledge of data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau. ● Experience working in a multinational or cross-cultural environment.
